Ivory Silk Habotai - Panache

A 100% Silk Ivory Habotai fabric, measuring 137 cm (54") wide and which weighs 34 gram per square metre or 8 mm (mommy). Panache is also available in several other colors. 

Habotai is a lightweight, glossy silk that is often used in garment making as a lining fabric. It can also be used to paint on or use to make lamp shades. The use of silk as a lining makes the garment more comfortable in terms of breathability and the smooth finish allows the garment to slip on and off gracefully. Habotai when used as a lining does not add bulk but will add a slight amount of body and weight, whilst allowing the garment to remain soft and fluid.
